About

I am very grateful to have found a career that I love at a very young age. I was first introduced to massage therapy at the age of 13 after having spinal fusion to treat scoliosis. Massage was the only treatment that helped with the pain during my month long hospital stay. My love of massage continued through adolescence. When I graduated from high school, I went directly into the Massage Therapy program at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Newmarket, Ontario. There I received my education in massage theory, anatomy, physiology and pathology.

I began working as a massage therapist in 1999 and spent ten years co-owning a successful clinic in downtown Ottawa. After selling the clinic, I began to practise massage therapy out of my home.

Working as a Massage Therapist is incredibly rewarding. I like to work with my clients to determine a treatment plan that best suits their individual needs. My specialty is incorporating deep tissue massage with relaxation techniques. This combination provides effective treatment of specific syndromes and injuries and helps manage stress.

I am a member in good standing with the following professional organizations:

• College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario
